Conditions were hard, and the kite and cam crashed enormously (watch that happen here). Luckely everything was still in working order, even After 12 minutes of beating in big waves, the cam inside the housing took some water to, so getting to make this little action movie is still a wonder!

NK 2007 at Scheveningen.
A small Dutch Championship movie, this time a little different.
There was NO wind, so there was a best trick held in LOW wind for fun. Winners are Tijn van Esch and Annie the Jong.

It was that time of the year again.. STORM !
Big chill winds, cold water, cold rain, cold big waves ...cold everything! And Ruben at home in the Netherlands, that calls for another Stormchase!
Despite the bitter cold and the megastrong winds Ruben LEN10 went for it! and put on a show at IJmuiden nobody will ever forget. He left the crowd amazed on a stormbattered beach.
It's funny how everything and everybody got together again that one fine day. Very nice pic's are flying around on the internet already from various photographers, and here on the Kitecinema computer there's some great stuff to.
To give you already a view of how it was and how hard and amazing Ruben really is, i made a little preview, cause as always there's little time for me, so you'll have to wait a short while for the full Stormsjees 2.0 Ruben Movie comes out!

'UNCHAINED' the NK 2007 Speed & Freestyle movie
The 2007 Dutch Championships speed & Freestyle movie:
Winds were cold , very cold and gusty.
Despite the cold and gusty wind there were some great speedruns and a nice non-official Freestyle comp with best trick.
Big thanks to everybody involved and pulled trough all day, making the best of it!

Underwaterhousing ... a Making off.
I have been very busy making a special camhousing for some friends, that bought a JVC Everio without oculair :O, for their Epic Kite-Trip to the Filipines. (without oculair at the back means, that you have to use the LCD screen ALWAYS to view your recording time, battery life, standby or rec mode. etc. )
So besides waterproof, it had to be idiotproof and bombproof as well. It even has controle lights for the recording on and off mode at the back of the housing for very easy shooting.
It also has a very clever sliding system to put the cam in and out.
I get lots of request how to make one , or to make one for others. As I can not comply to all these requests, i just pushed record on the little JVC cam now and then, so now I ended up with a special 'making off' movie for you all.
Now, everybody can give it a try and build one. (if you're a bit handy ;)
