As all things in life and in this kosmos, they come together when there’s a need to.  I always wanted to make a movie about a particular dude who keeps amazing me everytime i see him ride. Couple years ago the beast was just a kid, that came only to the coast if his parents could take him there after a long ride. Struggling with his kite and board every little day he had on the water, to finally come to a reasonable level after 2 years. Note, that Bram Bast is not residential at any coastal area or other waters, he lives way back in the inlands of Holland.  That’s why i have mucho respecto for this chap, despite the litlle hours on water he keeps getting stronger, better, harder, funnier and more importantly, stays himself.

Now Bram kindly asked me when he got home from Brasil, if i could do something with the footage he had now. There was some acted hesitation on my side, to keep him in suspence about that, but after seeing the footage, it looked the heavens cracked open, and my decision was final. Once again there is something that had to come and had to be done. The time to be devoured by the Beast is now!

Congratulations to both Champs. You make us very, very proud in Holland.

Wonderfull days on the 3rd and 4th of octobre 2009 in Holland.

Again Kitecinema was in Scheveningen to get a shitload of footage from many dutch riders at the Dutch Kiteboarding Championships 2009.
 It’s time for the final ridersmovie, this time it’s with Kevin Langeree,  the Dutch Champion of the NK kite 2009.

 NK KITE 2009 Wonderfull days on the 3rd and 4th of octobre 2009 in Holland.

Again Kitecinema was in Scheveningen to get a shitload of footage from many dutch riders at the Dutch Kiteboarding Championships 2009.

It were really epic days with winds that exceeded 36 knots on the 1st day, so there was a lot of action going on in the mens heats.
With riders like Youri Zoon, Bram Bast, Kevin Langeree, Bas Koole, Tijn van Esch etc. giving their best to a big cheering crowed.

NK KITE 2009 the (other) MEN

Wonderfull days on the 3rd and 4th of octobre 2009 in Holland.

Again Kitecinema was in Scheveningen to get a shitload of footage from many dutch riders at the Dutch Kiteboarding Championships 2009.

It were really epic days with winds that exceeded 36 knots on the 1st day, so there was a lot of action going on in the mens heats.
With riders like Youri Zoon, Bram Bast, Kevin Langeree, Bas Koole, Tijn van Esch etc. giving their best to a big cheering crowed.
  It’s time for the MEN’s Nk Kite 2009 Movie now.  Some riders performed really well at the event, they deserve their own movie.
